The NPD has released its top ten best selling for February 2017 in the U.S and it is quite something. Resident Evil 7 was the best selling game for January but that was not the case for February as For Honor has taken its spot as No 1 while Resident Evil 7 has gone down to No 2.
Trust that GTA V was among the top three as it took its place at No 3. GTA V has been out for quite a long time now and still continues to make massive sales each month. So far since its release, it has sold over 75 million copies. Nioh which came out not too long is already doing well for itself as it made No 9.
Overall, there was a 21 percent drop in total video game sales last February which was caused by a 30 percent drop in video game hardware.
Sales of the Nintendo 3DS unit went up 77 percent compared to January “driven by the 3DS New Galaxy Style model and the 3DS limited Pikachu yellow model.”
Below are the top best selling games in the U.S for February as shared by the NPD.
