Call Of Duty is back and this time we are taken back to the events of the second world war which is just as brutal and gritty as you might have expected.
Earlier, WWII was confirmed for this year but there was no trailer or release date, just rumors. Well, now we can move past the rumors as all our questions or rather most of them have been answered as Developer Sledgehammer who is behind this masterpiece following their previous masterpiece Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare unveiled to us in live stream which took place on Wednesday night the reveal trailer and release date of WWII.
The game takes place between 1944 and 1945 and puts you in the position of Private Red Daniels, a young and inexperienced recruit in the US Army’s First Infantry Division fighting through the European theater of the war. You’ll get to fight through the beaches of Normandy on D-Day, fight in the Battle of the Bulge and many more missions. With bomb shells going off in every corner, you know you’re not in Texas anymore.
Along with the single player campaign mode comes a multiplayer mode and a co-op zombie mode which was teased although they have really been quiet about this. About the zombie mode, the developer said it is”an entirely new story and a pretty horrifying experience, and it will tell the story of the Third Reich’s desperate attempt to create an army in the final stages of the war.”
Pre-ordering the game gives you access to the Private Beta which is additional bonus contents. Aside that, there will also be three Editions of the game when released: The base edition, the Deluxe Edition and the Pro Edition.
Call Of Duty: WWII launches November 3rd on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
