Infinity War is going to feature all the Marvel characters we’ve come to know and even more as they all face the Mad Titan. Infinity War also marks the end of Phase 3 in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and not everyone is going to make it out alive. I mean, it just won’t make sense if everyone does.
In an interview with JoBlo, Marvel studios president Kevin Feige was asked if it [Infinity War] will be the final chapter for some MCU heroes, to which he replied “Yes”. There is no hint as to which characters he could be referring to but we can all take a guess. He also added “We have another two years of hard work to even finish these movies, and they [the actors] have a lot of hard work to do, so that’s all we’re thinking about, is completing those and delivering on the promise of those. Where it goes beyond that, we’ll see.”
As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.
Avengers: Infinity War will be released on April 27, 2018 in the UK and May 4, 2018 in the US.
