MASS EFFECT ANDROMEDA WILL NOT HAVE A SEASON PASS

According to Bioware General Manager Aaryn Flynn, Mass Effect Andromeda will not be having a season pass. This was confirmed when a fan asked him on twitter and he gave a plain simple response:

— Aaryn Flynn (@AarynFlynn) January 7, 2017

When also asked about the DLC plans for the game, he had this to say as well:

@coldboy33 @masseffect We’ll talk more about that later 🙂January 7, 2017

Although this shouldn’t come as a surprise since Bioware hasn’t apparently been a fan of season passes. Just take a look back at the previous Mass Effect games. Well, Mass Effect 3 got an online pass but that could only be used in the co-op multiplayer mode of the game.

Just this week we got a release date for Mass Effect Andromeda. With still a few weeks to go before it is released, more details are expected.
